Lambs are springing to life on the farm.

It is a busy time on the farm as spring is coming and so are the lambs. So far we have had seven born in the last two days with more on the way. The nursery is filling up with pens throughout the barn to house the mothers and their new offspring. So far we have one set of triplets and two sets of twins. Six more ewes are patiently waiting for their turn as we check on them during  the day and into the night wondering who will be next.
Soon they will all be let out of the barn  and the gate will be opened up to the pasture as the weather warms up. If you drive by in the next couple of weeks look for them playing on the hill enjoying spring.

Love the photos and the recipe Elvia.

I really appreciate knowing how to prepare the plants we grow so they taste good. I am going to return to the stand soon for kale, and then...make this dish...with some of the suggested additions.

How about more recipes...for more of the wonderful produce Gordon makes available in the farm stand. I, for one, will be grateful for this nice service. Carol
